Library Services
The Lakeside High Library Media Center holds a collection of over 20,000 print and non-print materials, and online databases. We provide access to over sixty current periodicals and three daily newspapers. Research materials are available in print, online, and e-books to support the curriculum needs of our students and faculty. Leisure reading materials for information and enjoyment. Our online catalog (DESTINY) connects users to these resources at school and at home. Multimedia computer work stations are available for students to use.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Lakeside Library Media Center is to provide students with the opportunity to become lifelong readers and consumers of information. The library will support the curriculum by collaborating with teachers, developing a collection that is representative of the school community, and implementing literacy and research in instruction for our students.
